We went house hunting for the third time yesterday, bringing our total to 13 houses seen. This time we ventured out into "the other ward." (Gasp!) Don't worry though, these houses had an instant point against them for that reason. One of the houses we saw was very beautiful, with the most well-maintained exterior we have seen yet. The first room we went in was the office, which contained two keyboards and some hard-core music equipment. We could tell there was a serious musician that lived here. Then upstairs in one of the bedrooms--it was obviously a girl's room--were hung several New Era posters. In another bedroom, a boy's room, hung a BYU pennant. We eventually figured out that we were in the home of Bro. and Sis. B.! (Do you know who I'm talking about? Think serious musician.) We had no idea idea they were even moving. Ironically, it's our favorite house so far, but I'm hoping for one with a little more backyard, although the woods and stream behind their house are amazing!
Showing Update: We had a slow week last week but we had two Monday, five yesterday, and one scheduled for today. I've lost count of our total now. And another house on our street just went up for sale. Aaaah!

Whiteford. 1627 Chestnut Street. 6 bedroom/2 bath. Just dropped the price to $214,900. Nice backyard. Still in the ward boundries. North Harford schools... Just think about it. :)

Nicole, you are showing your house A LOT! Maybe things are different there, but when our house was up for sale a few months ago (we almost moved, then changed our life plan) we had no showings for the first two weeks! The market here is dead, dead, dead (which turned out to be a blessing). You'll sell. I LOVE looking at houses. Reading your posts makes me want to go look at houses even though we're not selling. :)
Wow! What an adventure! I remember those days, they are exciting, fun and EXHAUSTING! Good luck with keeping the house clean, best idea is to keep the closets clean so you can just dump all the CLUTTER into them at the last second - ha!
