The End of an Era

Nine years, nine months, and 13 days. Nearly a decade.

That's how long I changed diapers.

Continuously.

Which means every child overlapped with the next, so there were often times when I had two children in diapers.

I think I can officially say that Emma is potty trained, now that she's been wearing underwear for a week and she hasn't had an accident for three days.

I couldn't be happier.

She was saying, "Mommy, don't take my picture."
Hee, hee. I'm so mean.

Christmas Cookies

The girls and I had a messy but fun cookie making session last night. I love that they're getting older and can actually do activities like this. Last Sunday we stamped Christmas gift tags. They even helped clean up! Woohoo! I love that my kids are getting old enough to clean. And I mean for real clean. Not the type of "cleaning" that you make a three year old do and then you have to go back and do it yourself when they're done.

They were on a bit of a sugar high...

And the finished masterpieces...
