Carolyn just got her first set of scriptures (Is she really that old? Am I that old?) and she wanted me to make a cover for them. Of course she wanted the kind with a zipper instead of a bag because that would've been too easy to sew. I am so happy with how it turned out. I have a serious sewing skill deficiency and I can't believe how smoothly it went. And as a bonus, the fabric she picked out was marked down 50% plus it was on sale for 50% off and I had a coupon for 10% off. You can't beat that.

Wow! I'm impressed with your mad sewing skills. I didn't know. :) I may have to have you help me when I'm ready to make Madeline's bag, or maybe one for me... The possibilities are endless. :)
WOW!!! You did a great job! Wanna make me one?....or you could teach me instead. It's beautiful!
That's the cutest scripture tote I've ever seen! Did you follow a pattern or just make it up? Either way it's way cute. If it is a pattern, and you don't mind sharing, you should post it on your blog. I see big potential in next year's Christmas gifts if I could figure it out! =)
It turned out great! Will you teach me how to do zippers? I am afraid. Do you use a zipper foot?
So cute, Nichole! Share your pattern! I only have 11.5 months before Kylie's big eighth! Yikes!
I had NO idea that you made that bag. It is great. You are amazing!
