Dream in the Making
I have a dream to someday have a super-organized pantry and today I got one step closer to it. I went to Aldi and they had these storage containers that I have fallen in love with. I love everything about them: the straight sides for maximizing storage space, the dual spouts for big pouring or small pouring, the handle for easy grabbing, the way they'll keep out pests and humidity, and the price--only $3 something each! I'm gonna have to go back and get some more because I keep thinking of other things I could put in them. Now I just need to figure out how to organize the rest of my shelves and maybe someday my dream will come into fruition.

Where is Aldi and what kind of store is it?
Very cool! And in different convenient sizes!
Aldi is a small discount grocery store in Edgewood off Rt. 40. I think Melissa works at the dental office right by there. They only have the basics and almost everything is their store brand but I heard that it's all made by major companies and relabled. But everything I've had from there tastes good. They also don't bag your groceries. You have to bring your own bags or buy theirs for 10 cents each I think. And you need a quarter if you want a shopping cart but you get it back when you put your shopping cart back. Also, they don't take credit cards. But they have great prices on a lot of things, especially canned food and baking items. Things like meat and cheese I can usually get better prices on by shopping the sales at regular stores. Their dry milk is only 12.99 for 4 lbs. and a can of it at the family home storage center is 13.30 for 4.1 lbs. Their produce can be a little scary sometimes though. But it's definitely worth the trip, especially if you've never been. I always buy more than I was planning on when I go there because everything's so cheap.
