Sneak A Peek

Remember that old Staples back to school commercial with the song "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and the dad is gleefully tossing school supplies in the shopping cart? I used to hate it but now I think it's hilarious! I couldn't figure out how to put it on the blog but here's a link if you want to watch it again (It's a must-see if you haven't seen it since becoming a parent of school-aged children):

Today was "Sneak a Peek" at school, where the kids get to see their classroom and meet their teacher. We had fun finding their names on the cubbies and bulletin boards. They both seem like they have nice teachers.

Molly's cubby. In case you can't see, the name above hers is Maximus (hee, hee).

The big, bad second grader.

Audrey commandeered the camera and went on a photo spree. That's Carolyn's teacher in the background.

Very fun! I understand the thrill of school starting too. I just wish that kids went to school a year earlier. To only have once child at home, I can't even imagine. You will have to remind me of this next year when I am crying because Layla is going to school!

I love that commercial!

Happy back to school to you. Tomorrow's the big day for us. Wow, what will I do with only 3 at home?!
