There it Goes

It's happening. Last time it took about 10 months to start. This time it's only three.

My hair is falling out.

Anyone who's had a baby knows how the thick, lush hair you enjoyed during your pregnancy falls out, seemingly all at once. I've never minded this too terribly because I have plenty of hair on my head to spare. The bad part is always when it starts growing in again and you have patches of two inch hairs sticking out all over your head. But it can be manageable with the proper use of product. But this time it's different. It hasn't just affected the hair on my head.

This time it's hitting my eyelashes too.

It took me a little while to figure it out. I used my eyelash curler one day and thought, "Hmm. That's weird." when I saw some lashes that had come out in it. And another day when I was applying my beloved Max Factor Lash Perfection mascara I thought, "Why is it suddenly only lengthening and not thickening?"

Then I put the pieces together.

The injustice! I do not have eyelashes to spare. As if the stretch marks, saggy skin, dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep, near impossibility to lose weight while nursing, to name a few, weren't enough...now, my eyelashes?! The things we go through for these kids!

Amen. I have the half inch sprigs all over my head right now. Annoying. Sorry about your lashes. :)

I am so sorry for you!!

That is it, the deciding factor, if baby #4 makes the lashes fall out, there will be NO NUMBER 4!!!!

If it makes you feel better, I can't tell that your lashes are thinning.
